Cleveland, OH
Safe Harbor was created specifically for medical professionals (doctors and nurses), attorneys, business professionals and other individuals that require an upscale environment and the associated amenities.
Safe Harbor not only accepts patients that are coming out of an inpatient treatment program looking for transitional housing, but also accepts patients that are actively enrolled in PHP, IOP and other ongoing treatment programs.
Residents that have been prescribed Suboxone, Anti-Depressants or other medications by a physician are welcomed at Safe Harbor.
Safe Harbor’s facility is located within the Intercontinental Suites Hotel located in beautiful downtown Cleveland, on the main campus of the Cleveland Clinic.
Norton, OH
Safe Harbor Norton, an Ohio nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe, sober living environment to those who suffer from alcoholism or addiction.
Safe Harbor Norton is staffed by a qualified, experienced on-site Resident Manager and 2-3 Peer Supervisors, consists of a single-family home, a duplex, a small cottage home, and a 10-unit motel. There are currently 15 residents living in the duplex.
As a not-for-profit facility, Safe Harbor Norton is funded by donations, grants, loans and rent payments.
No counseling, medical examinations, or treatment services of any kind are provided at the facility. Safe Harbor Norton is simply a sober place to live providing room and board for clean, sober people who are actively engaged in treatment programs.
* All applicants are required to complete a thorough clinical assessment to determine eligibility into the Safe Harbor program.
